Myers Commercial approached Shatterproof in need of an updated website that would highlight their expanded service offerings. More widely known for office tenant representation, this commercial real estate firm wanted to pivot their messaging to showcase their expertise as a development shop.
Another aspect of Myers’ need was the look and feel of their site. With over five decades of experience, Myers Commercial had built a very well respected brand within the community, but their website at the time did not reflect this. Myers knew that an updated look would help to attract the type of businesses they desired to work with. They also had an upcoming project that they knew would create a lot of buzz in the community. They wanted their site to be a place that they could showcase this beautiful property with pride.
We began by interviewing key stakeholders at Myers Commercial to determine the core service offerings and functionality that were most important on the site. Our experience in commercial real estate marketing helped us to direct Myers on the best user experience and content. We developed a site map, wrote the content, and chose imagery that would enhance the brand. We incorporated logo elements throughout the site to highlight the brand’s well-known and trusted identity.
On the back-end, Shatterproof built a custom platform for the commercial real estate marketing manager to input new properties that would display on the site. This functionality was a big plus in an industry that is typically confined to frustrating, out of the box solutions for property specific information. Thanks to our experience with web design for commercial real estate, we were able to create a custom website that helped Myers Commercial refresh and reposition themselves at a time when they needed it most.
